Body image is hard.

AND "YOUR BODY IS NOT YOUR WORTH" JUST ISN'T CONVINCING ENOUGH.

Because we all know the affirmations. We've rejected diet culture. We follow the right accounts (mostly) and we understand, intellectually, that our body is not our value.

And yet...

a bad photo can still wobble our week. Getting dressed still feels like an injustice. Our coworkers are all losing weight and we're sitting here pushing our jealousy and resentment down like a beach ball under water.

And we're tired of how much space this takes up.

The problem isn't that we have the wrong values. It's that our 2026 brains can't compete with everything we absorbed in our nervous system before we had the language to question it. And now more than ever, we're completely overwhelmed.

This work works in three ways: it offers new frameworks for how to think (to deconstruct old beliefs), somatic tools to shake up what's still being held in the body, and a community of people who really do get it -- because connection is our nervous system's most powerful tool.

In a world that sells quick fixes for everything, I'm not going to promise you'll feel easy breezy about your body in six weeks. (That's actually part of the problem.)
But I will tell you that

Weekly Session Topics

You're Not Alone

 

We start by meeting the group and getting a sense of what we’re all dealing with, and what it’s like to live in the world in 2026. You’ll also write a letter to your body during the session and have the option to share it with the group.

The Body Keeps the Score: Your Body Image Story

This week is about understanding how old experiences get held in the system, why certain things still feel so (disproportionately) hard, and why insight by itself doesn’t change that. You’ll start mapping your own body image story to understand your fear triggers.

Shifting Perspectives:

 

Tools to change where your attention goes. Zooming out, Who's On First, and Zooming over. We also look at the role of the Imagined Audience and how to use attention strategically.

Coping With Triggers

 

Photos, mirrors, store windows, Zoom cameras, social media, clothes. What's happening when. you get triggered from a nervous system perspective? You’ll learn a simple, three step process to work through flood moments instead of getting pulled under by them.

Agency

 

Move from being observed to being in your body. Posture, presence, choice, and how you want to show up. Redefining your inner template.

Integration: Body-image Work via Case Studies

 

You'll have the opportunity to submit a case study of a real life situation that you need help working through. I'll offer my perspective from a coaching lens and the group will also provide feedback to integrate what we've learned and feel supported.

Week-by-week topics are a general outline and may shift slightly based on the pace and needs of the group. For example, something listed in Week 2 might move to Week 3.
